Trichen Kyenrab Yunten Gyatso is the 88th holder of the Throne of Ganden. He was a teacher of Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche (1901-1981), the tutor of His Holiness the current Dalai Lama, and granted him teachings on texts he had composed concerning subjects such as the six preliminary practices and the Offering to Lamas (Lama Chupa).
