Yungton Dorje Pal (1284-1365): a student of Zurton Champa Sengge and Rangjung Dorje (the 3rd Karamapa).
With a stern expression and the right hand raised in a wrathful gesture the left holds upraised a white skullcup. Offered to the mouth of a fearsome blue face surrounded by black smoke. The lama wears the orange and red patchwork robes of a fully ordained monk, crowned with a pandita hat. The legs extend outward in a relaxed posture atop a cushion seat. The head is surrounded by a dark green aureole. In the Gelug School he is considered to be one of the previous lives of the Panchen Lama.
