Akshobhyavajra, Guhyasamaja (Tibetan: mi kyo dor je, sang wa du pa. English: the Unshakable Vajra Scepter, Secret Assembly): principle deity of the Father (Method) classification of Anuttarayoga Tantra.

Peaceful in appearance, with a stern expression, blue in colour, he has three faces and six hands, embracing the consort. Lineage teachers are seated above and along the sides are retinue deities from the mandala of the principal figure.

Guhyasamaja (Secret Assembly) is a Buddhist meditational deity that arises from the Guhyasamaja root text Sarva Tathagata Kaya Vag Chitta Rahasya Guhyasamaja Nama Maha Kalpa Raja Tantra (4th-5th century C.E.). There are three principal forms of the deity; Akshobhyavajra (Unshakable Vajra), Manjuvajra (Melodious Speech Vajra) and Lokeshvara (Lord of the World). The Manjuvajra form arises from a separate text, Shri Vajra Hridaya Lamkara Tantra-nama, related to the root tantra. The first two forms, Akshobhya and Manjuvajra, come down primarily through the three lineages of Acharya Abhayakaragupta, Nyen Lotsawa and Marpa Lotsawa. The red Lokeshvara form was popularized by Atisha Dipamkara. View a 3-dimensional paper model of the Guhyasamaja mandala. Virupa, Yogindra (Tibetan: bir wa pa, nal jor wang chug. English: the Ugly One, Lord of Yoga): progenitor of the Margapala (Lamdre) system for the interpretation of the Hevajra Tantra; the most important tantric teachings of the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism.

Descending at the left side are the lineage teachers of the Lamdre Lopshe tradition. Descending at the right are the lineage teachers of the Lamdre Tsogshe tradition.

At the bottom center is the wrathful deity Hevajra, blue in colour, with eight faces and sixteen hands. At the left side is the protector Panjarnata Mahakala. At the right side is Shri Devi. At the bottom left is Brahmarupa Mahakala and at the bottom right is the wordly protector and wealth deity Vaishravana.
